Simone' LaRay, a mother of two, is dedicated to establishing her own name and brand to inspire and uplift her community. She is the author of two remarkable books: "A Black Girl's Diary," a poetic memoir healing journal, and "Hey Sis," a self-help affirmations journal with haikus and writing prompts.
She is also the Founder of The Poetry Lounge, a creative platform for all to open their minds, share their heart, and speak their truth. Each event is curated with intentional themes and goals of Building Community through The Arts.
With a decade of experience in education, she also aims to develop a creative mentorship and outreach program for youth in the future.
